It’s Just There

❤ the bed and simplicity

Love the bold colors

Keeping mess in check will be hard

Replicate furniture? c'est impossiblay.

I have not yet (and likely wont) made any grand announcements of finishing school. I believe it may be one of the biggest achievements as of yet, for architecture takes a toll on every fiber of my being, but after mentally accepting that I have made it, it’s just … there. Like a block of wood at a corner you stare at. I dont feel a significant change in my life for now. Maybe after I get out of the state, things might start looking real-er. My bestfriend Kelly and I are looking for a place to stay and a new roomie to crash with us (she has to know how to cook, very important!), but its tough looking for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom 800 sqft apartment at a decent price in the city. A place that the owners have not mutilize with their lame sense of deco and obscure color choice. What do you expect from 2 architecture graduates? I cant wait to move in to where ever this new home may be. It’s the highlight of my life at the moment. And the search goes on.

Subjective Blasphemy

I'd prefer it this way

or rock it this way

I was bloghopping yesterday, my brain munching up visual grubs of fashion delectables.Page after page it was sweet, oh, too sweet, sweet sour, oh spicy!  spicy HOT! But one picture had me holding back vomit. A beautiful Christopher Kane Croc T-Shirt blasphemed with hideous cropped jean shorts, overboard accesorizing, bed hair which litteraly looked like she just got out of bed and crazy red lipstick that should have been left for those who can actually pull it off (unfortunately I’m not one of them). I am saddened that such a beautiful piece of artwork has been scandalized as such. A t-shirt with such grandeur should be worn simple. Its already a visual treat by itself, going overboard leaves it a bit too sweet close as to make you hurl. But yeah, fashion …. is subjective. Hence me holding it all in.

Side note, I know I have the CKane Baboon/Gorilla shirt in as well. I know.

Steer Clear and Stay Low?

These are a few of my favourite things!

My laced skort.

I met this stylist a few months back. He had some cute clothes on racks for sale. Me and my bestfriend scoured through them taking the potentials out and weighing the pieces of clothing against our bodies and looking for each others apporval. I’m crazy for skorts and there was this cute skort (skirt+shorts=skort) I had my eye on, but the price was pretty hefty and the waist 2 sizes too large. I closed in on the stylist and asked if he had a smaller one and he replied no, but the one I was holding could fit me. Hmmm, I thought. I told him that I did not like it hanging 0.5 inches above my crotch and that it would be better if I wore it as a highwaisted skort. He told me, “If you want to be in style, you have to dress up to date, and low-waisted is up to date.” That bold statement totally caught us of guard, but then fashion is subjective, still, got me and my bestfriend steering clear from him. The skort? Left it on the rack for another girl to buy.I’ll come back 2 seasons later … maybe.

Path of Greatness

The path of greatness includes deprivation of all forms of nutrients including that from sunlight, indulging in gluttonous helpings of fat in masks of burgers, rice, kebabs, donuts, cookies and ice-cream to manage nerves, hours of straining delicate eyeballs onto a 15″ screen of lines and lines of God knows what on CAD, a playlist that consists of Pokemon the Movie OSTs, tears and confusion of everything and many more. Its not an easy path. No sir.
